How darling are these animal alphabet cards?! Says Laurel: The amazing custom wedding day stationary was made by my best friend, who was also one of our officiants. She did 17 original watercolor paintings of different animals at the Santa Barbara Zoo that start with a different letter, and then each table at the reception had a custom-printed version of her paintings as the place card for that table (instead of table numbers). She made printed sticker versions of the animals and we hand-stamped guests’ names on the escort cards. She also drew the program and custom zoo map, which included activity information for our guests. (via Real Wedding: Laurel & Scott :: Snippet & Ink)

Table Assignments: I created a private Instagram account where I put in funny, old, and embarrassing photos of all the guests from Facebook and then had them turned into cards on Printstagram. Then I wrote their names and table assignments on each one. I spray painted wooden hearts then hot glued them to mini magnets (Etsy seller buyjust5supply) to make heart magnets that the guests could take home with their photo cards. Then the magnets held the place cards on magnetic boards from Ikea.(via Kate Spade Heart Themed Wedding: Tara Ryker)
engagement photos on the escort cards, adorable idea!
adorable seating chart with a heart baring a different pattern on each card
“find your name, then replace it with a polaroid photo of yourself… smile!”
or you could go with instax photos.  this is a great way to make sure you get a photo of each and every guest, but this version of an escort card/guest book combo can end up being kind of expensive.
